Eventually, this tree blossoms and bears fruit—dozens, hundreds, or even thousands. One tree, originating from a single seed, can become an entire orchard or plantation, capable of supplying the world.

This natural phenomenon is a powerful metaphor for our minds. A single idea, when nurtured with creativity and innovation, can grow into a thriving business. It can expand globally, impacting countless lives. This is also true for investments and our personal growth.

The most important step is the beginning: Dream Big and Think Big. People with grand visions are not interested in negativity or trivial matters. Like a shark that doesn’t bother with small fish, they focus their energy on bigger opportunities. Humans need to build a mindset of thinking big and motivating themselves. Think about the creation of rubber and palm oil industries; from a few seeds, they have grown into major global exports. Sharing the idea of dreaming big and thinking big is like planting a small seed that can grow into something impactful on a global scale.

What was once a good student, a successful professional career, top positions, big titles, degrees, companies, salaries, networks, and connections are now in the past. They have become memories, and what remains are your knowledge, abilities, experiences, successes, and self-built assets. So, stop living in the past; it’s gone. Focus on living into the future, which begins with staying relevant.

A New Brand

We must adapt to changing times, environments, and challenges, both internal and external. The same person, but with a new brand: a multi-tasker who manages everything independently, from an office boy to a driver, worker, CEO, and chairman. All roles performed by oneself on both local and global stages, making decisions and building one’s fortune and dreams.

Now, I am a freeman, owing nobody for a living. In a democratic country, I am free to speak and share opinions. Exercise your democratic rights, or the system will fail us.

The Weight of Responsibility

During my career, writing and thinking became a culture. High responsibility was placed on me. Every employee was like my own child. They depended on the company to support themselves, their spouses, and their children. They worked hard for promotions and future security, and the company entrusted me with a significant responsibility to manage and grow. This was my heavy duty, and I was compensated for it. Together, we achieved success.

Reflecting on Purpose

In retirement, questions and answers arise within me:

• Why did God give me knowledge, abilities, and success?
• Why do so many others not receive the same?

Thus, the need to keep thinking and writing remains, as there are duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled. It’s not about working hard and then relaxing and enjoying life. There is always more to achieve and contribute.
